With A Vengeance

Okay just a few hours after my last post and my symptoms came back. With a vengeance. So much nausea that I have had full on vomiting fests. Hurray. And boobs are sore, sore, sore. So I do feel relieved. But also really yucky at the same time.

That's me. And the spots aren't too off the mark either.

Hopefully all this suffering means everything is going well! I just have to have faith and be positive. I won't go for a scan until 12 weeks. This is just what I want to do. It's just a feeling I have had for a while, which is backed up by some research from well-known midwives and out-of-the-box thinking obstetricians. If anything does go wrong then I will know it was not the scan. I'm over 9 weeks now so I don't have long to wait and then all will be revealed.

Until then hope, faith, positivity.

  1. Never been so happy to hear about puking! Keep up the yucks, it is a good thing. I found sniffing lemon peels eased the yucks caused by gross smells (which seemed to be everywhere!). I would carry them around in my purse :)

  3. Yay for nausea! Hope all is well insh'allah- and your attitude is inspiring. I do want to say, just throwing my assvice here- that my kid has scans every single week starting at week 6 and alhamdullilah he's fine, snoring in the swing across from me at the moment. I worried a lot about them but I had too many issues that warranted them. . . eitehr way- just wanted to throw it out there. I respect your decision not to though, and admire the strength it takes!

  4. Hi! I am visiting your blog for the first time from Fran's blog (Everyone Else But Me).

I'm sorry you are not feeling well, but I pray that baby is snuggling away. Good luck with your 12 wk appt. Signing up to follow your journey.

  6. Oh my goodness, what a holiday! I hope you feel better soon - but keep those symptoms that you want to keep! ;) The nausea was insane for me, and I ended up having to take Zofran for about 5 months. It was awful and reassuring at the same time!
