Just thought I'd share a few photos of our 'just the two of us' weekend-getaway. We had the most relaxing and chilled out time. So great. But Mr. T couldn't stop teasing me about the luggage situation. You see I've never been one for traveling light. I like to be well prepared for every possible imagined eventuality. So the car was heavily laden as we set off for the trip. Mr. T kept on about how we were only going away for three days and the fact that the car was packed to the brim was a bit ridiculous. Perhaps I did go overboard... but I'd rather be prepared. And he certainly wasn't complaining when he was tucking into one of the (many) spinach quiches I had prepared the day before. Swings and roundabouts people.
But for now I'll let the pics do the talking.
This was at 30 weeks:

We hadn't taken a lot (umm.. any) pregnancy photos so we got a bit snap happy

And I posed for the camera, proudly showing a growing Pebbles

The sky was blue and I could hear the ocean in the distance

We swam

Practiced yoga

And hiked to see the sea
God willing, next time it will be me, Mr. T & Pebbles on our first family vacation. We smiled when we talked about this. Which we did a lot.
And then Mr. T sighed in despair and closed his eyes "we'll need another car just for the luggage." Nah. I said. We'll get a roof rack.

Oh you look STUNNING!! Your belly is adorable, I'm delighted you took those pics and the setting....oh my God, it is fabulous! I got a smile thinking about your car packed to capacity! If Pebbles takes after her mommy you definitely need a bigger car!

ReplyDeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteHow delightful these pics are. You make such a beautiful pregnant woman. Thank for sharing
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! So glad you had a nice time away. My honey is a big packer and I would always say to her, you know when we have kids we won't have room for all this stuff, and she would just say, well we will have to get a bigger car, then!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo far we haven't but it's just a matter of time I think!
Congrats on being so far and feeling and looking so good!
You're just too beautiful! The ocean looked wonderful. I'm so glad you all had a great time together!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. I love them all. I love the fact that Pebbles will be here in a few weeks, and Inshallah will join you for many fabulous trips to happen!
ReplyDeleteTake Care and Be Good.
P.S. Looks like the air cycling did the trick....I had forgotten about it, but theluckylife mailed me and reminded me. Just wanted to let you know.
