Every day I celebrate my baby girl, Beanie Bu (a.k.a Pebbles). We thought we would never have her. We traveled a long road to have her with us and she was worth every step of that roller coaster journey. She was born at home on August 1st 2011, three years after we started TTC.
You can read all about our journey to Beanie Bu here.
Trying hard not to let infertility or my new identity as a mother define me totally.. though I love being a mother and am so pleased to have it define the whole of me! But there is more. I teach. I am passionate about learning and discovering new ways to learn. I am passionate about natural health, TCM, nutrition and organic farming. I am passionate about human rights and social justice. And I have a love-hate (mostly it's all love) relationship with chocolate.
I live in Morocco with my husband and baby daughter. We are currently building our eco home in an olive grove at the foothills of the Atlas mountains. Yes, it is as beautiful as it sounds. But also a lot more complicated than we ever imagined! A lot like our road to parenthood.
If you want to know a bit more about my background and life in Morocco check out this post.
